Purchased for $45 a decade ago at a garage sale by Rick Norsigian, these 65 photographs are being considered the “missing link” in Adams’ career and were once thought lost in a fire.

Entry Requirements
The Jury will only accept completed original photos, as well as those meeting the purposes and goals of the Contest, its theme and priorities. The photos submitted should be executed on a high artistic and technological level.

When submitting an entry, authors must also send a scanned copy of the signed Copyright Release to contests@prestigio.com. The form is available for download at the Contest website http://art.prestigio.com and http://www.prestigio.com. The photos which are not accompanied by the signed Copyright Release will not be accepted.

The photos for the online gallery must be presented in one of the following formats: JPG and/or TIF, and with a size of not exceeding 2MB.

The authors must provide the Contest’s organizers with the original pictures upon request. The original pictures must have a resolution of at least 300dpi and a size of an A5 page (148x210mm).

Photographs featuring materials of erotic and/or pornographic nature, artworks executed or published with infringement of third party copyrights, or of other current legislation, will not be accepted by the Contest’s organizers.

An entrant, who has been exposed for plagiarism or use of another person’s ideas, shall be permanently disqualified and shall not be allowed to further participate in the Contest.

Incepand de astazi, fotografii amatori care isi doresc sa devina profesionisti sunt provocati sa participe la singura competitie adresata cronicarilor fara cuvinte din cadrul Premiilor Ioan Chirila.
Kaptura este un concurs al vanatorilor de pe marginea terenului, al celor care stiu sa astepte ore in sir pentru o secunda de arta. Cand panda a luat sfarsit, imaginea este trofeul lor, un stop-cadru pe care au acum sansa de a-l inscrie in cadrul concursului foto Kaptura.

Competitia se va desfasura in perioada 21 septembrie – 13 noiembrie, iar fotografiile trebuie trimise pe adresa foto@ioanchirila.ro.

Reguli vanatoresti

Castigatorul fiecarei saptamani va fi ales de catre Cristi Preda si Alex Galmeanu, doi dintre cei mai reprezentativi şi mai bine cotati artisti fotografi ai momentului. Imaginea aleasa va aparea in editia on-line a unuia dintre cele mai cunoscute cotidiane romanesti, cu link catre blogul sau site-ul concurentului. De asemenea, va fi publicata pe site-ul Premiilor si pe trilulilu.ro. La sfarsitul campaniei, fotografiile castigatoare ale fiecarei etape vor intra in competitia pentru un aparat foto Nikon D-SLR D3000.

Votul juriului va fi dublat si de un premiu de popularitate. Pe toata durata competitiei vizitatorii vor avea ocazia sa voteze cea mai buna fotografie a fiecarei saptamani pe www.ioanchirila.ro.
La sfarsitul celor 8 etape, autorul celei mai populare fotografii va primi un premiu special.

Imaginile inscrise pot reda activitati sportive in orice context s-ar desfasura acestea. Fie ca sunt surprinse in interiorul arenelor sportive sau in afara lor, ne dorim ca fotografiile sa vorbeasca despre sport prin intermediul unor compozitii cat mai inedite.

Prin lansarea proiectului “Romania, esti frumoasa!”, L’Oréal Romania cauta sa descopere si sa prezinte frumusetea prin ochii oamenilor, sa le dezvolte mandria de tara si [...]]]> Cu ocazia implinirii a 100 de ani de existenta la nivel mondial, L’Oréal Romania a lansat un proiect dedicat studentilor constand intr-un concurs de fotografie cu tema “Romania, esti frumoasa!”.

Prin lansarea proiectului “Romania, esti frumoasa!”, L’Oréal Romania cauta sa descopere si sa prezinte frumusetea prin ochii oamenilor, sa le dezvolte mandria de tara si sa aduca schimbare in viata a 100 de tineri studenti care vor primi, ca premiu, burse private in valoare totala de 200.000 RON.
Proiectul se va incheia in luna decembrie, printr-o expozitie.

Desfasurare:

1. Concursul se desfasoara in spatiul online. Studentii se pot inregistra pe un site dedicat special acestui eveniment, http://www.loreal100.ro/, pana pe data de 31 august.

2. Studentii pot intra in concurs publicand cel putin o fotografie care sa prezinte frumusetea Romaniei, in cel putin una dintre categoriile:
- Peisajele noastre
- Arhitectura noastra
- Oamenii nostri
- Obiecte de langa noi
- Alte frumuseti (inclusiv fotografie de strada, animale, traditii)

3. Toate fotografiile vor putea fi vazute si votate de publicul larg pe site.

4. Un juriu format din profesionisti, experti in frumusete, persoane marcante din Romania vor lua parte la procesul de votare. Membrii juriului sunt: Alexandru Abagiu (make up artist), Marius Baragan (fotograf), Mihaela Glavan (fashion stylist) , Florin Noje (hair stylist), Carol Capita (profesor universitar), Richard Matalon (Director General L’Oréal).

5. Voturile vizitatorilor site-ului vor avea o pondere de 20% in clasamentul final.

6. Inscrierile in concurs se incheie pe 30 august. In luna decembrie, L’Oréal Romania va inaugura o expozitie cu fotografiile castigatoare.

Din regulament:

” (5) Organizatorul isi rezerva dreptul de a modifica sau inlocui prezentul Regulamentul in orice moment pe parcursul derularii Concursului. Orice modificare sau inlocuire a Regulamentului, inclusiv dar fara a se limita la regulile de participare la Concurs, mod de desfasurare a Concursului sau perioada de valabilitate a Concursului vor fi anuntate in prealabil, prin publicarea pe Site cu minimum 1 (una) zile lucratoare inainte de data intrarii in vigoare a respectivei modificari/inlocuiri.”

“(7) Prin inscrierea in Concurs a unor fotografii Participantii isi dau acordul ca drepturile lor patrimoniale de autorcelelalte drepturi intelectuale asupra fotografiilor respective sa fie pe deplin cesionate si protejate in favoarea Organizatorului, pe teritoriul Romaniei pentru intreaga perioada de protectie a acestora, fara nicun fel de plata sau alte obligatii suplimentare din partea Organizatorului, prezente sau viitoare. Ca urmare a cesiunii mentionate anterior, fotografiile inscrise in Concurs vor putea fi facute publice si folosite in materiale promotionale si publicitare de catre Organizator, acesta avand dreptul exclusiv sa stocheze, sa utilizeze si sa dispuna de respectivele fotografii in toate modalitatile, prezente sau viitoare. Organizatorul nu este raspunzator pentru materialele afisate de catre concurenti pe Site, acestia fiind singurii raspunzatori pentru folosirea unor materiale protejate de drepturi de autor, a unor materiale nelegale sau care ar putea vatama drepturile unor terti.”
