Snowden Photography Competition 2012“Celebrating the Mining Industry”

Entries are open from 1st January until 30th June – please don’t miss out on your chance to be part of the exhibition which will travel to conferences and events internationally.

People in Mining and their stories: $1,000
People’s Choice winner: $1, 000

Each year, amateur photographers from around the globe, select 3 of their top photographs, that best reflect the competition title “Celebrating the Mining industry”, for submission to the Snowden Photography Competition. For the past 5 years, the competition has grown to a record over 1,000 submissions received last year.

ELIGIBILITY
(a) Entry is free and is open to entrants from all countries.
(b) The Entrant must be at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry.
(c) The Entrant must not be a professional photographer. In this clause, a „professional photographer‟ is a photographer who derives more than 50% of his or her income from photography.
