Each year, amateur photographers from around the globe, select 3 of their top photographs, that best reflect the competition title “Celebrating the Mining industry”, for submission to the Snowden Photography Competition. For the past 5 years, the competition has grown to a record over 1,000 submissions received last year.
ELIGIBILITY
(a) Entry is free and is open to entrants from all countries.
(b) The Entrant must be at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry.
(c) The Entrant must not be a professional photographer. In this clause, a „professional photographer‟ is a photographer who derives more than 50% of his or her income from photography.

ISTANBUL PHOTO CONTEST 2010 Welcome to the web page of Istanbul Photo Contest 2010. “LES ARTS TURCS” marks its 12 years of cultural mission and for this reason we would like to celebrate by giving foreign photographers the opportunity to capture the importance of the historical peninsula & modern Istanbul. The photo competition is designed to encourage foreign photographers of all skill levels to submit photos that visually express how the whole city has undertaken the mission of all activities during the candidacy of Istanbul: 2010 European Capital of Culture.
