The British Life Photography Awards are open for entries. It’s perfect timing to capture some great summer images. This is your chance to win a prestigious photography award and first prize valued at £6,000. With an overall prize fund worth over £10,000 sponsored by Sony, winners and commended entrants will have their work displayed in an exhibition and book.

This photographic competition is a showcase for contemporary and imaginative images that capture the essence and spirit of British life.
Entries must have been taken in the United Kingdom of Great Britain Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands.
With ten separate categories documenting real life through original, illuminating, thought provoking, humorous and poignant imagery. Covering everything from street life, rural life, portraiture and a special award for the best documentary feature, the awards celebrate British life and culture whilst also highlighting the relevance and importance of photography to raise awareness and inform.
The competition is open to all photographers both amateur and professional. A special prize will also be awarded to the best young photographer.
