Se pare că în loc să lanseze generaţia Phantom 5, DJI consideră că Phantom 4 Pro este în continuare un model competitiv în gama sa de preţ și de aceea a ales să lanseze o versiune îmbunătăţită a acestei drone sub forma modelului Phantom 4 Pro v2.0.
