The Europol Law Enforcement Photo Competition 2015

The annual Europol law enforcement photo competition is back, giving talented photographers the chance to showcase their outstanding images and win a trip to Holland!

This international competition invites talented photographers to capture the essence of the challenging and rewarding work of law enforcement personnel.

Police, border and customs guards, SWAT teams and more can be portrayed in the images, which can enter in one of four categories:

Making Europe safer. EU law enforcement officers at work, making Europe a safer place.
Organised crime. Operational insights into the fight against organised crime, e.g. drugs and weapons trafficking, people smuggling, counterfeiting, cybercrime
Practice makes perfect. Training exercises and manoeuvres.
Freestyle. Law enforcement pictured in abstract, panorama and artistic form.

It is open to professional and amateur photographers working for law enforcement agencies and law enforcement magazines in EU countries and countries with Europol Agreements

Three winning photographers will win a trip for two people to Amsterdam or The Hague, with a visit to Europol headquarters. The winning images will also feature in Europol’s 2016 calendars.

The competition opens for entries today and will run until 20 July 2015.
