Premiul principal “Peace Image of the Year” („Imaginea păcii a anului 2021”), în valoare de 10.000 de euro, a revenit fotografului american Maggie Shannon pentru reportajul său despre nașterile acasă din Los Angeles în timpul primei carantine Covid-19 din primăvara anului 2020.
Alfred Fried Photography Award pentru Imaginea de Pace a Anului 2018, în valoare de 10000 €, a revenit fotografei Anna Boyiazis, SUA, cu o imagine din lucrarea ei “Finding Freedom in the Water” (“Găsirea libertății în apă” ).

The organizers of the Alfred Fried Photography Award 2018 call on the photographic community to focus on peace in the world and to communicate this strongly in the media and to the public at large. Peace and photography enjoy a special relationship. The work of photojournalists has always helped make people aware of the need for and rewards of a life of peace. Regrettably they usually achieved this with pictures of the opposite – war and hunger.

Au fost anuntati castigatorii concursului Alfred Fried Photography Award. Anul acesta concursul foto a avut ca tema “cum arata pacea?”, iar marele premiu a revenit lui Emil Gataullin din Rusia.
