#EyeCareEverywhere Photo Competition, is the fourth photo competition organised for World Sight Day.
After the immense success of our three successive photo competitions, the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) invites amateur and professional photographers from around the world to join us in celebrating the diversity of stakeholders and patients we reach.
The International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) is an alliance of civil society organisations, corporates and professional bodies promoting eye health through advocacy, knowledge and partnerships.
As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. This competition can be a great opportunity to highlight eye health successes and also document unmet need.
Together, we can work towards building support for blindness prevention and to ensure universal eye health.
PRIZE DETAILS:
– Professional category: a cash prize of $1,000
– Amateur category: Canon 1200 D DSLR camera
A IAPB Council of Members 2018 Delegates’ Choice certificate will also be awarded to the photo receiving the highest number of votes at the Council of Members held in Hyderabad, India.
All individuals interested in the theme are welcome to participate in the photo competition. Send them your photos with the theme ‘Eye Care Everywhere’ before World Sight Day (11th October 2018).
Every week, they will pick “Editor’s picks” and showcase them on IAPB’s social media accounts. Finally, winners will be selected from these Editor’s picks after World Sight Day (the last day of the competition).
The competition will be open till 11 October 2018 – World Sight Day, after which we will pick two winners and 5 runners-up. Winners will be announced on 15 October 2018.
