For the 2015 edition of the North Pacific Research Board’s (NPRB) photo contest, NPRB asks amateur and professional photographers to make a bigger splash—it’s time to go underwater!

Specifically, enter images of underwater sea life and research within the waters of the North Pacific Ocean including the Gulf of Alaska, Prince William Sound, Bering Sea/Aleutian Islands, Bering Strait or Chukchi/Beaufort Seas. Images should relate to NPRB’s research themes including: plankton, invertebrates, fishes, seabirds, marine mammals; or be of people engaged in conducting research, fishing, subsistence, or other activities. For more information, read the Official Rules.
