Concursul Fotografia Anului “MCC Cricket”

Amateur and professional photographers from around the world are being given the chance to have their photographs appear as the first three colour images in the 2015 edition of the Wisden Cricketer’s Almanack by entering the 2014 Wisden-MCC Cricket Photograph of the Year competition.

Photographers can submit up to three images with the only stipulation being that each photograph must have a cricket related theme and have been taken in 2014.

Prizes:

The prize for the winning photograph is £2000 cash and a copy of Wisden 2015
Two runners-up will each receive £1000 cash and a copy of Wisden 2015
Eight other shortlisted entries will each receive £250 cash.
The top three winning photographs will be reproduced as the first three images in the colour section of the 2015 Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack, and each of the eleven shortlisted entries will be exhibited at Lord’s during the 2015 season.

The winning entrants will be notified at least one week prior to the announcement of the winning images in April 2015.

Each entrant may submit up to three different pictures taken between January 1 and December 31 2014.

Image requirements: high resolution JPEGs at 300dpi; up to 9 Mb in file size. Digital adjustments are only acceptable if limited to minor cleaning work (removing dust spots), levels, curves, colour, saturation and contrast work. Sharpening and minimal cropping is allowed.
